Coming soon on the blog:
Read To Me
I’ll be reviewing books on family history and travel. First up is The Bar Mitzvah and the Beast: One Family’s Cross Country Ride of Passage by Bike. I heard about it on Capital Public Radio’s Insight show and knew I had to read it. Just came in the mail yesterday. I grew up on road trips and am feeding my children on road bytes as well. I’m intrigued by the idea though very teetery on a bike myself…
Tri for Fun
…which brings me to my next topic, triathlon training, inspired by the WordPress Worldwide 5k Challenge. Oh, I’ll find family history connections somewhere in there, don’t worry.
I’m going to Story Winery on Sunday for a bloggers-only wine tasting class. And I’ve got some wine finds in my grandparents’ cupboards to go along with that.
Be My Guest
If you have a family story that merits the description Churning Great Memories, let me know. It can be a story about one or more ancestors, or a funny thing your kid said yesterday that you know is destined to become a family memory.
Do you have wine stories? Exercise feats or failures? Road trip stories? Please share!
